Wilde Thyme at Glenturret has announced it is to launch what is believe to be the area’s first “supper club” with Wilde Thyme’s Third Thursdays – a series of four Thursday nights across four months that will allow diners to savour a specially prepared menu for the equivalent of just £25 per head.
Andrew Hamer, chef patron of Wilde Thyme at Glenturret, and previously the executive chef at Gleneagles Hotel, commented:
“Supper clubs have seen a renaissance in recent years and I’m not aware of anyone running one in the area. People sign up to attend all four evenings and over the course of four months we will tantalise their taste buds with a series of menus that will showcase local produce and exceptional cooking. It’s the ultimate foodie gift for Christmas.”
Wilde Thyme at Glenturret offers the very best of local produce from Scotland’s larder and the menu, which is delivered by head chef Jonathan Greer, offers a world-class culinary experience to match the award winning visitor attraction.
Andrew, Chef Patron of Wilde Thyme commented:
“Our vision has always been to offer diners an authentic taste of Perthshire and Scotland and our menus reflect that. We look forward to welcoming our supper club members every third Thursday and getting 2016 off to a tasty start.”
